Job Description

The Entry-Level Accounting Intern supports the Finance team within Aramark Sports + Entertainment by assisting with daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis related to venue and event operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to accounting processes supporting food & beverage, retail, and event-driven revenue streams at NRG Park. It is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop accounting skills in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

+ Assist reconciliations of revenue transactions.

+ Assist with month-end close activities, and account reconciliations

+ Support financial reporting for venue operations, including food & beverage andretail revenue

+ Help track and analyze event-related revenue and expenses

+ Assist with inventory, cost of goods sold, and labor cost analysis

+ Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

+ Collaborate with operations and unit-level teams to ensure accurate financialdata

+ Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or expectedgraduation)

+ Internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance preferred

+ Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and spreadsheets)

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

+ Must be able to work post–NRG Park events, including evenings, weekends, andholidays as required
