+ Patient Care Oversight: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, sensitive nursing care, including triage, health education, medication administration, and laboratory services

+ Quality Improvement and Efficiency: Lead clinical quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Quality Management team. Continuously evaluate and optimize clinic workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity.

+ Staff Development: Conduct performance reviews for nursing administration staff. Serve as a role model for professional competence and ethical standards.

+ Administrative Duties: Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and purchasing of medical supplies, vaccines, and medications. Maintain quality control for laboratory services and CLIA-waived testing.

+ Infection Control and Safety: Obtain and oversee Infection Control certification for the Brooklyn site

+ Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with other departments to implement new programs, workflows, and interdisciplinary care models

+ Education and Training: Collaborate with the Research Department to develop health education materials and training curricula. Identify or create patient educational resources to enhance health literacy.

+ Strategic Leadership: Actively contribute to Callen-Lorde’s mission to build an anti-racist organization by leading within a diversity, equity, and inclusion framework.

    Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with evening hours.

    Benefits:

Salary will be based on experience and will be accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including an exceptional low cost medical plan option for you, your spouse/domestic partner and/or your family, dental insurance, vision insurance, no cost life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Tuition Assistance, commuter benefits, a generous paid time off plan, and a 403B retirement savings plan.
