Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – $40/hr – Claremont, CA – In-Person – 1 Year

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students. Responsibilities include clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Claremont, CA

+ Start Date: 01/26/2026

+ End Date: Approximately 1 year (end of school year)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: 30 per week

+ Pay Rate: $40/hour

+ Modality: In-person only

+ Openings: 1 position

Responsibilities:

+ Assist SLP with therapy sessions and documentation

+ Support students in achieving speech and language goals

+ Maintain compliance with assigned plan of care and professional standards

Requirements:

+ Graduate of an SLPA program with associate’s degree OR bachelor’s in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

+ Completion of 100 hours of supervised field work or equivalent

+ Active SLPA license in California

+ One year of prior SLPA experience preferred

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ TB screening and health certificate per state guidelines
