    Local Pay Rate:$45

     

    Position Type: Full School Year (August – May)

     

    Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Report times may vary by grade level)

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a passionate High Incidence Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a collaborative environment. This role involves working closely with behavioral staff to implement individualized behavior plans and ensure student success.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with RBTs, paraprofessionals, and behavioral staff to implement behavior plans within special education settings.

    + Provide group support in classroom environments.

    + Complete required checklists and competency exams as part of district compliance.

    + Participate in virtual interviews and district onboarding requirements.

    + Grade Level: Middle School

    + Classroom Type: General, Inclusion, or Self-Contained (based on placement)

    + Caseload: N/A

    + Support Staff: RBTs, paras, and behavioral team members

    Requirements

    + Resume

    + Valid Kansas Teaching License

    + Two Professional References (Reference check documents available in attachments)

    + Previous teaching experience preferred

    + CPI training (in addition to Amergis' CPT training)
