    Special Education Teacher - $47/hr - Austin, TX

     

    The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.

     

    + Location: Austin, TX 78758

    + Modality: Self-contained

    + Caseload: 1:1 student

    + Classroom Support: 1 Para professional

    + Duration: 20 weeks

    + Schedule: Full time, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm

    + Pay: $47/hr

    Requirements:

    + Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certificate

    + Generalist or Core Certification preferred

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
