    High Incidence Special Education Teacher – $45/hr – Wamego, KS – Full School Year

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a High Incidence Special Education Teacher for grades 9–12 to provide quality services to students under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. This role includes planning and implementing individualized programs, providing special instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.

    Assignment Details:

    + Location: Wamego, KS

    + Start Date: July 27, 2026

    + End Date: May 2027

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (report times vary by grade level)

    + Duration: Full school year (9 months)

    + Hours: 40 per week

    + Pay Rate: $45/hr

    + Modality: In-person

    + Interview: Virtual

    Responsibilities:

    + Work with RBTs, paras, and behavioral staff to implement behavior plans within special education settings

    + Provide group support and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

    + Complete required checklists and competency exams

    Requirements:

    + Valid Kansas teaching license (Special Education required)

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred

    + Previous teaching experience preferred

    + CPI training and Amergiss CPT training required

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
