Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Newhall School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team as soon as possible . This full-time position serves elementary school students only , supporting their communication, language, and academic success in a collaborative and student-centered environment.

Position Highlights

+ Full-time in-person SLPA role within Newhall USD

+ Elementary school caseload only

+ Work alongside experienced SLPs and a supportive special education team

+ Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners

+ Immediate start date available

+ Starting Pay: $45 - $53, willing to negotiate dependent on experience

Responsibilities

+ Provide speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

+ Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs

+ Implement therapy plans and collect data on student progress

+ Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals

+ Assist with materials preparation and documentation as needed

Qualifications

+ Current California SLPA license

+ Experience in school settings preferred, especially with elementary students

+ Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

+ Passion for supporting student growth and success
