Civil Engineer
We currently seek a high-caliber Civil Engineer for a direct hire basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals.
At **TRS Staffing Solutions** , we connect top talent with leading organizations across the globe. **Our client** **is a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm serving the utility, energy, and midstream sectors.** They provide comprehensive solutions ranging from engineering design and consulting to integrity management and turnkey project delivery, all with a strong focus on innovation and aligning closely with client goals.
Job Duties:
+ Establish Civil design project requirements across a variety of different project types.
+ Primary Job Duties:
+ Lead the development of design drawings and reports.
+ Direct and mentor staff using software tools such as: Civil3d, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, MathCAD, Bluebeam, Office.
+ Oversee Land Development Operations (grading, drainage, site layout, road design) and provide expertise/problem solving for complex civil sites.
+ Oversee and direct Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis and Report Writing
+ Lead the civil coordination efforts with other groups on a project team to complete multi-discipline sets of construction drawings
+ Mentor engineering staff to hone and grow their skills.
+ Delegate tasks within the civil team to efficiently complete work and meet deadlines.
+ Develop, communicate, and coordinate project scope, budget, and schedule with internal teams and client stakeholders.
+ Manage/oversee numerous projects simultaneously.
+ Conduct/coordinate design review meetings for major projects with clients and design team members.
+ Identify, adhere to, and demonstrate compliance with appropriate industry and municipality regulatory requirements.
+ Develop and coordinate construction materials, design standards, and technical specifications.
Education & Experience:
+ Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required
+ Civil PE certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
+ 8+ years of experience directing civil engineering staff to efficiently complete land development projects
