    Summary This position is located in the Financial Systems & Automation (FDC) organization of Finance (F), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). The purpose of the position is to serve as the supervisor of the Financial Systems & Automation organization and a member of the Finance management team. As a Supervisory Financial Business Analyst, you will: Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. Interview candidates for positions in the organization and recommends appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions. Hear and resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager. Effect minor disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands, recommending other action in more serious cases. Evaluate work performance of subordinates. Conditions of Employment: Supervisory Managerial/Probationary Period Per DOE Order 326.1, this position is required to file a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-13, in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as: Leading a project or team or serving as a technical expert in the planning, development and administration of financial information systems to meet both mission and organizational objectives. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
