Role Summary
With a strong focus on both **staff and guest obsession** , the Water Park Team Leader plays a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience and making this one of the best places to work. This is a **guest-facing, frontline leadership role** supporting daily operations within an assigned zone of the Water Park.
As a Water Park Team Leader, you will act as a **fully trained and certified subject-matter expert** on water attractions, serving as a role model for safety, service, and professionalism while supporting your team and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Role Modeling & Team Leadership
+ Lead by example by ensuring all team members follow water park safety competencies and proper aquatic safety practices.
+ Support efficient daily operations while consistently delivering excellent guest service.
+ Act as a trusted frontline leader, communicating effectively with zonal and management leadership.
+ Notate and report daily operational occurrences and assist leadership with issue resolution.
+ Participate in shift briefings to review daily priorities and assignments.
+ Monitor staff breaks to ensure proper coverage and smooth rotations.
+ Complete presentation and safety checklists to ensure cleanliness and operational standards are met.
+ Support opening and closing procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
+ Serve as the first point of contact for guest inquiries, resolving concerns professionally and positively.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in a **guest-facing role** (theme park, resort, or similar environment preferred).
+ Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
+ Basic math and computer skills preferred.
+ Ability to work **flexible schedules** , including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
+ Must obtain and maintain **StarGuard ELITE Lifeguard Certification** .

Pay Range
USD $17.25/Hr.
