    Job Description

    Establish, execute and disseminate Mission Assurance (MA) requirements and expertise, across Tactical Solutions (TS) Strategic Business Unit, that applies radio-frequency (RF) and electro-optical (EO) technologies to the nation s defense needs in C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), precision strike, air dominance, and electronic warfare. Establish MA requirements appropriate for tactical hardware/software solutions for government and prime contractor customers within the defense community, inclusive of multi-function apertures, phased antenna arrays, RF systems for space applications, and EO and infrared imaging and tracking systems.

     

    The Enterprise Assurance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers critical assurance disciplines that protect and enable people, data and missions. We provide a comprehensive approach to managing risk across the enterprise for current and future information environments where the business and missions execute. We apply the use of innovative tools and robust processes to ensure mission and business success.

    What You ll Do:

    + Be a visionary contributor to the program leadership team. Team with internal business partners to deliver hardware and missions that are meaningful to our customers, nation, and world.

    + Lead and support anomaly and failure review board processes as required, coordinating Subject Matter Expertise

    + Own communication channels and interface with Program Customer Mission Assurance representatives.

    + Spearhead execution of Mission Assurance requirements implementation, verification, and validation.

    + Own the implementation of standard company processes for assigned program(s) by development and execution of program unique Mission Assurance Plan(s), through each of the assigned functional disciplines.

    + Participate and lead technical discussions regarding quality assurance and specialty engineering design aligned to mission risk objectives and goals

    + Balance regarding technical risks against cost and schedule constraints; defend them when needed.

    + Build out a budgetary and scheduled plan for Mission Assurance tasks and activities for the course of a program lifecycle. Investigate and disseminate reporting of project metrics to develop a continuous feedback loop of improvement. Champion and envision process improvement for current and future programs.

    + Align and organize the Mission Assurance Integrated Product Team (EEE Parts Engineering, Reliability, Radiation Effects, Hardware and Software Quality, Materials and Processes Engineering, Contamination Control and Systems Safety)

    + Be adaptable; have the ability to navigate between strategic thought and tactical implementation in technical and programmatic settings with various stakeholders.

    + Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

    + Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

    + Perform other duties as necessary.

    **On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site five days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

    Working Conditions:

    + Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + BS/BA in related field plus 8 years or more related experience.

    + Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

    + A current, active DoW Secret security clearance is required.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Degree in Engineering preferred.

    + Leadership skills to inspire and connect with team members, customers and subject matter experts to provide program Mission Assurance leadership and Achieve Mission Success.

    + Interpersonal skills to foster advisor relationships with Program Management, other program team leads, and on-site customers as required.

    + Presentation skills to formally present information and communicate effectively with Program Management, Executive Leadership and Customers.

    + Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and milestone monitoring as well as reviewing technical reports to assure technical and contractual compliance.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
