As a Security Specialist, you will work with the FSO, all levels of leadership, as well as both internal and external customers to support a variety of interesting and dynamic programs. This role provides onsite support for the site s security program.
The candidate must exercise discretion and independent judgement in performing the following tasks:
+ Interpret government and internal company policies, develop and implement security plans and procedures utilizing the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) as well as any other specific programmatic instruction manuals
+ Assist with International requirements to include Foreign Visitor requirements and Export compliance with regards to Security processes
+ Provides support as necessary during emergencies, alarm response, and lobby coverage as necessary
+ Responsible for container and open storage access lists, combination changes and ensuring employees have received required security training pertinent to their security responsibilities
+ Assist FSO with open area construction requirements and certification
+ Conduct monthly perimeter checks
+ Create and modify badge accounts; as well as perform all badging compliance checks
+ Monitor key control
+ Assist FSO with Physical Security Assessments as well as any projects associated with perimeter/building projects to protect our personnel, information, and products
+ Provides security guidance to company personnel
+ Conduct security briefings/debriefings as necessary
+ Conduct investigations\\interviews of noncompliance matters and complete appropriate documentation according to company and government directives
+ Assist with Security reviews to include: Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency visits, formal self-inspections, and support Staff Assistance Visits (internal audits) of other BAE Systems facilities
+ Support to other security disciplines within the organization to include: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Assurance (IA), Communications Security (COMSEC), Special Programs, Document Control and Visitor Control
+ Additional duties/tasks as required
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ National Industrial Security Program (NISP) experience
+ Must be able to multitask
+ Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
+ High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills, and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing security environment
+ Customer focused, excellent communicator (written and verbal), and ability to work with limited supervision
+ Strong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
+ Top Secret security clearance eligibility
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Previous experience with DISS, NISS, and SIMS
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
