Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a cleared Flight Dynamics Analyst sitting in Grand Forks, ND supporting a large government client. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform near real-time constellation position trending, monitoring, and management
• Develop and validate all station-keeping maneuvers to maintain tight pointing and crosslink requirements and assist in the execution all maneuver planning for ascent, collision avoidance, and cross-track maneuvers
• Support the team by conducting real-time conjunction analysis to assess the risk of collision and execute mitigation efforts as deemed necessary
• Ensure the quality and timely generation of predictive orbital events to support other domains
• Take an active role in the development and maintenance of Flight Dynamics procedures
• Continuously look for ways to improve tools and processes for streamlined operations
Compensation:
$35-$45/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years directly applicable experience working with satellites or in the space field
• Proficient with standard Microsoft Office/engineering tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a high paced operational environment often providing off-hours support
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently present products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues
• Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions or come up with solutions
