    Job Description

    An employer is looking for a Data Scientist to sit remotely. You will primarily be assisting the client with identifying trends and anomalies related to various operational forecasting models. These AI/ ML models help forecast resources for store operations related to labor levels, inventory, supplies, etc. You will utilize, enhance, and build these models to help optimize the proper resourcing levels for these restaurants to reduce cost. You will build out reporting to showcase these results and determine root cause related to models/ data that may not be reflecting properly. You will help establish KPIs, participate in ad hoc reporting efforts and help with establishing baselines for new forecasting models. Additional tasks will include debugging models for any issues identified, data analysis, and support other ongoing projects in the AI/ MLOps space.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    3-5 years experience in data science roles

     

    Strong experience in reporting, analytics, and forecasting models

     

    Strong Python, PowerBI, and SQL skills

     

    Well versed on statistical ML and AI based models

     

    MLOps knowledge- Familiar with machine learning operations

     

    AWS experience (SageMaker) TensorFlow or PyTorch experience

     

    Strong SageMaker experience
