    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a heavy machinery technician to support our customer located in Chesapeake, VA. The candidate will be responsible for operating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting heavy hydraulic equipment. 4 years of hydraulic experience.

     

    Experience testing PSI levels, troubleshooting mechanical pumps and valves, and routing hydraulic hoses.

     

    Must have experience interpreting and reading hydraulic schematics.

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Calibration & Testing Hydraulic Technician to support a client in Chesapeake, VA. This candidate will be supporting the night shift team, working on identifying PSI issues, troubleshooting hydraulic systems, and providing accurate diagnostic results. This candidate will have experience working on large hydraulic systems with a specialization in testing and calibration. The salary range flexes between $25-$28/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    3-5 years of experience.

     

    Experience installing or repairing hydraulic systems

     

    Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities on heavy machinery equipment.

     

    Experience working with hydrostatic drive systems.

     

    Experience reading machine schematics. Plusses:

     

    Previous experience working with CAT or Cummins heavy machines.
