Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator to join one of their financial services clients in Midtown, NYC. This role offers the opportunity to shape the foundation of ServiceNow at the organization, influence strategic decisions, and drive long-term success. Therefore, the individual should have experience with implementing, administering, and developing ServiceNow to drive the project and the platform ongoing; additionally, the individual should be able to perform basic to intermediate coding when needed, understand ServiceNow development concepts to make informed decisions, and effectively manage vendor deliverables and ensure quality outcomes. This is 1-2 days a week onsite in Midtown, NYC.
Key responsibilities:
•Act as the primary administrator and owner of the ServiceNow platform
•Partner with help desk, desktop support, and engineering teams to identify needs and design effective ServiceNow solutions
•Oversee vendor activities during implementation and future projects
•Lead subsequent phases, including:
•Building a support portal and service catalog
•Driving automation and workflow improvements
•Integrating ServiceNow with SharePoint, Workday (HR), and LANDesk (desktop management)
•Develop and implement a training program for help desk staff and regional managers to serve as backup administrators.
•Promote and embed ITIL best practices across the team.

Skills and Requirements
-1-2 years’ experience as a ServiceNow Administrator
-Bachelor’s degree in an IT field of study (computer science preferred)
-Large-scale environment experience (2,000+ users)
-Strong JavaScript and PowerShell experience
-Experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms
-Knowledge of programming concepts -ServiceNow administration or advanced administration certification
-ITSM or ITIL certification
