Job Description

We’re seeking a backend focused Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable services on Azure—delivering robust APIs, Azure Functions, and data driven integrations that power SaaS products, R&D initiatives, and AI capabilities. You’ll develop primarily in Python and C#/.NET, implement reliable web APIs, and apply LLM prompt engineering (including crafting complex prompts) to integrate with tools like Roboflow and modern AI services. You will own service quality end to end—instrumenting telemetry and monitoring, automating delivery with Azure DevOps, and working in VS Code within Agile, iterative workflows. Partnering closely with full time engineers and product, you’ll communicate clearly in English, provide crisp status and problem descriptions, and proactively troubleshoot to unblock others—raising the bar beyond “just the ticket” delivery. Front end experience with React and TypeScript is a plus for full stack collaboration; above all, you’ll influence engineering best practices, reliability, and velocity across a modern Azure-based stack.

Pay Rate- $30-40/hr.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 7+ years delivering full stack solutions in complex enterprise environments.

• 5+ years hands on Python (including LLM integration and Roboflow) and C#/.NET for backend services.

• Proven experience designing, building, and operating web APIs (REST/JSON; auth, versioning, rate limiting).

• Demonstrated prompt engineering skills (crafting complex, effective prompts for LLM workflows).

• Clear, professional English communication—status updates, problem descriptions, and collaborative troubleshooting. • 5+ years building scalable UI components with React or Vue; 5+ years with TypeScript/JavaScript. (Preferred for 1/2 candidates)

• Experience with Azure services and Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML, IaC with Bicep/ARM, PowerShell). (Azure DevOps is a plus but strongly preferred.)

• Solid understanding of observability (metrics, logs, traces) and production reliability practices.

• Practical knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure performance and reliability.

• Navigates and resolves conflicts constructively; supports team cohesion and project success.

• Self driven ownership, proactively goes beyond “just the ticket” to improve outcomes.

• Open to innovation—applies modern tooling and AI to enhance workflows and accelerate delivery.
