    Job Description:

    + Supports the administration of the radiation safety program, including compliance with regulatory agencies, staff training, and supervision of radioactive source handling and disposal.

    + Performs dosimetric calculations for external beam, brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceutical therapy, ensuring accurate treatment planning and delivery.

    + Supervises medical physicist assistants or medical physics residents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.

    + Conducts weekly chart reviews and other checks of treatment plans to maintain high standards of patient care.

    + Provides medical physics consultation to physicians, staff, and patients, addressing radiation safety for patients and their families.

    Doctorate, Master's (Required)Medical Physicist in Training (MPT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Therapeutic Med Physics-Cert (TMP-C) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Therapeutic Radiology Physicist (TRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $183,665.15 - $341,609.74
