Job Description:

+ Performs, properly documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental and hospital policy.

+ Recognizes potential emergency or life-threatening situations and notifies Nurse Leader or ED Provider.

+ Demonstrates skill and judgment necessary to implement physician’s orders, procedures, and protocols of care, providing quality patient care.

+ Remains flexible to changing systems and demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits, treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.

+ Understands computer downtime procedures and proficiently uses the electronic medical record (EMR) for retrieval of patient information.

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, IV Certified (IV) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Paramedic (PARA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$16.66 - $26.65
