Job Description:

+ Educates/precepts new staff or students and works well independently with minimal supervision as needed.

+ Sets priorities and completes work within the expected time frame. Checks e-mail daily and effectively communicates with department Supervisor and Manager.

+ Performs staff Image QA as assigned. Communicates findings of QA to site leader and senior modality manager.

+ Actively participates in department meetings and safety surveys. Utilizes service recovery techniques for patients and families, as needed.

+ Utilizes the hospital performance improvement process in the goals of Imaging Services.

Bachelor's, Technical/Vocational School (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen (RDMS-AB) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer w/ OB/GYN Spec (RDMS-OBGYN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$28.68 - $53.35
