    Job Description:

    + Evaluates patients upon arrival to the Emergency Room and prioritize care using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) tool.

    + Assigns patients to appropriate treatment areas based on observations, vital signs, brief history, and ESI triage level.

    + Performs, documents, and reports all procedures and assessments according to departmental and hospital policy.

    + Assesses, documents, and intervenes in cases of suspected abuse or neglect.

    + Recognizes potential emergency or life-threatening situations and implement preventive measures.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of NursingAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $33.65 - $62.59
