    Job Description:

    **Schedule:** Full Time 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Monday through Friday with possible weekend and holidays

    **Shift** : Nights

    + Serves as shift charge person in the absence of department leadership, prioritizing work to ensure instrumentation and equipment availability.

    + Ensures safe work practices for all employees, monitors staff use of PPE in decontamination area, and takes appropriate action in emergency situations.

    + Participates in new employee orientation, on-the-job training, in-service education, and facility process improvement initiatives. Oversees and monitors supply and equipment inventory required for the department.

    + Rotates assignments among various areas within the department, including decontamination, surgical tray assembly, sterilization processes, and equipment management.

    + Operates complex sterilization equipment and selects the correct method of sterilization based on manufacturers’ instructions for use (IFU).

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational SchoolCertified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $19.23 - $30.77
