    Job Description:

    Promotes a safe environment by identifying and reporting potential safety hazards and taking appropriate action in emergency situations. Participates in education and discharge planning using established education materials. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department, participating in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities. Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, and performs handwashing according to policy. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures. Performs and documents patient care procedures, including medication administration in accordance with department policy. Participates in obtaining a nursing history and performs physical exams throughout the shift, including physical, mental, social, and spiritual assessments. Collaborates with Registered Nurses to make appropriate nursing decisions and interventions including recognizing and reporting problems. Assists with physician exams and data gathering, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture. Interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, reporting as appropriate. Supervises other healthcare team members in the clinical environment, assisting with orientation, training, and education of new personnel.     QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Technical/Vocational School (Required)Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Accredited Issuing Body, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $20.97 - $38.99
