    Job Description:

    + Supports the surgeon and/or qualified first assistant during procedures by performing tasks such as sponging, suctioning, cutting sutures, holding retractors, and manipulating the endoscopic camera.

    + Monitors conditions in the operating room, assesses needs of the patient and surgical team, and obtains additional instruments, supplies, and equipment as necessary.

    + Supervises other healthcare team members in the surgical environment, providing orientation, training, and education to new personnel.

    + Promotes a safe environment, takes appropriate action in emergency situations, and ensures adherence to regulatory standards and policies.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

    Pay Range:

    $22.68 - $42.19
