    About the Role

     

    As an Accounting Clerk, you will support the Finance and Accounting team by maintaining accurate records, performing essential data entry, and assisting with month-end and reporting activities. Your work will help ensure financial accuracy and compliance, directly supporting business decisions and operational excellence in a highly regulated, quality-focused industry.

    What You’ll Do Day to Day

    + Maintain accounting records through accurate filing, copying, and document verification

    + Perform data entry in the accounting system using Accounts Payable and General Ledger modules

    + Assist with month-end close activities in a timely manner

    + Prepare and update schedules using Excel and other tools as needed

    + Support intercompany account maintenance and agent commission records

    + Protect confidential financial and company information

    + Assist with general clerical and recordkeeping tasks for the Accounting team

    + Apply Quality System standards and applicable U.S. and international regulations

    + Continuously build job knowledge through learning and development opportunities

    + Support the Accounting team with additional responsibilities as assigned

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 1–2 years of accounting experience or related coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

    + Good written and verbal communication skills

    + Proficiency with Windows-based tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

    + Experience using accounting software systems

    **Pay Details:** $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
