PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to hire an **Employee Development Specialist** who will play a vital role in building workforce capability across aerospace manufacturing operations. This position directly impacts safety, quality, and production excellence by developing and delivering training that strengthens technical skills, leadership effectiveness, and operational performance.

About the Role
The Employee Development Specialist leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs aligned to business and regulatory requirements. Acting as both a learning strategist and hands-on instructor, you will assess performance gaps, define learning objectives, and deliver specialized aerospace training across technical and operational disciplines.
This role requires regular and predictable attendance and close collaboration with manufacturing leaders, technical experts, and regulatory stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
+ Define training project scope and recommend deliverables, budgets, and resource requirements
+ Conduct **learning needs analysis** and establish clear, measurable learning objectives
+ Oversee curriculum development, instructional materials, testing requirements, and system access
+ Adapt curriculum content and delivery methods to meet business-specific needs
+ Serve as a **lead instructor** in one or more aerospace skill areas such as Electrical, Structural, Quality, or Systems
+ Deliver training using multiple instructional methods, including classroom, hands-on, and team coaching
+ Facilitate learning events, track and assess student performance, and enhance delivery with key insights
+ Conduct **coaching sessions** to improve individual and group performance
+ Emphasize and reinforce **safety precautions** in all training environments
+ Maintain a positive and productive learning environment and address classroom issues in accordance with policy
+ Perform individual and group assessments and recommend process and performance improvements
+ Conduct **Train-the-Trainer** sessions to qualify and develop additional instructors
+ Ensure training content complies with **commercial, government, regulatory, and organizational standards**
+ Identify performance risks and lead analysis efforts to develop improvement recommendations
Required Qualifications
+ **3+ years of experience** in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
+ Experience coaching, instructing, or working as an **Employee Development Specialist**
+ Experience designing and delivering **leadership development or technical curriculum**
+ Ability to read, interpret, and train from **detailed work instructions, blueprints, and drawings**
+ Strong communication, facilitation, and performance assessment skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Aerospace Manufacturing and/or **Lean certifications**
+ Experience in aerospace disciplines such as **Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, or Systems**
+ Prior experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, electrical, or related systems
+ Experience in **Electrician, Structure, Wing, or Spar Assembly**
+ Background in **Needs Assessment and Job Analysis**
+ Advanced education typically aligned with a **Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience** , or an equivalent combination of education and experience

**Pay Details:** $44.10 per hour
