Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Saturday & Sunday, 0 hours/day)

Job Duties:
Daily tasks are but not limited to; planting plants on our automated planting line or by hand, hand-watering, weeding, deadheading, pulling landscape, contractor, and garden center orders, keeping detailed records when planting, shipping, and pulling orders, and loading/unloading of plant product and other greenhouse goods.
This position also requires being able to work in a variety of weather conditions. To be successful, you must be physically capable of bending, twisting, being on your feet for long hours, and able to lift at least 25 lbs. repeatedly and 75 lbs. occasionally. You also may be asked to assist in other departments, such as garden center, field work with trees, or ornamental potted trees and shrubs (Woody Plants) & other related Nursery Worker activities
The worker may be scheduled up to 6 days per week. Specific workdays will vary based on weather and crop conditions. Employer guarantees ¾ of the total contract hours.
### Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength, exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 75lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply. Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash.

### Additional Compensation
Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
