As a **Senior Specialist, Global External Communications** , you will be pivotal in helping shape Goodyear’s global reputation through strategic media engagement and visibility initiatives. With a focus on media relations, you will help to amplify our brand presence worldwide. In this role, you’ll manage high-profile speaking opportunities and corporate awards, ensuring alignment with Goodyear’s brand narrative and strategic priorities. Your work will elevate our leadership voice and showcase business achievements on a global stage.

What** **You’ll** **Do

+ Lead in-house media outreach efforts to promote Goodyear’s corporate story, business milestones and leadership perspectives. Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and journalists to drive consistent, positive coverage.

+ Identify, secure and help manage strategic speaking opportunities for Goodyear executives at global industry events, conferences and forums. Ensure messaging aligns with corporate priorities and enhances leadership visibility.

+ Support broader corporate reputation initiatives. Collaborate across functions/geographies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with global communications strategies.

+ Develop and execute a global awards strategy that highlights Goodyear’s innovation, leadership and impact. Manage submissions and coordinate with internal teams to identify and pursue relevant recognition opportunities.

What** **We’re** **Looking For

+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

+ 3 or more years of experience in either a corporate or agency setting, ideally with international exposure or work in a global organization.

+ Proven experience in media relations.

+ Strong ability to cultivate both internal and external relationships.
