Position Summary: Under general supervision, the Team Leader is responsible for the following duties: cleanliness of all public and patient areas, overall appearance of the assigned area and Medical Center Hospital, maintaining current area specific records, supply and inventory monitoring and completing all other duties assigned.
Qualifications: A. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required upon hire or transfer to the department. Able to read, write and comprehend English. B. Training and Experience: Work requires one to three years of housekeeping or floor tech experience. C. Job Knowledge: Requires reading, writing and counting skills. Interpersonal skills are required to interact with co-workers and staff. Mental and visual efforts are required to monitor and report issues related to Quality Improvement and Service Improvement. Work requires experience in operating floor cleaning equipment, and other equipment used in Environmental Services.
VI. Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Work of medium demand, sitting, standing, and walking most of the time while on duty. Must be able to push, pull, lift, and stoop to perform functions necessary for this position.
