Responsibilities
Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for rehabilitative services.
+ Develop strategic goals, plan and standard consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
+ Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
+ Prepare budgets for service area, ensure compliance, coordinate and direct audits.
+ Direct and evaluate clinical activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Audiologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtainedprior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Boardof Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board ofOccupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology andAudiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences
+ Master's or DPT in physical therapy
+ 5+ years as a practicing therapist preferred
+ 3 years Director level experience preferred
+ Will consider a experienced therapist with manager level experience
+ Experienced with staffing, scheduling and revenue generation/charges specific to therapy modalities
