Description
This is OUR story... and YOUR next chapter
At HCA Healthcare, our Digital Transformation and Innovation (DT&I) team is redefining what’s possible inpatient care. By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, automation, and digital technologies, DT&I is helping drive meaningful improvements in clinical outcomes, reduce manual workload, and expand the reach of our care teams. If you're passionate about using technology to improve human life, this is where your work truly matters
What you will accomplish in this role
We are seeking a Digital Product Analyst (DPA) for the Roster and Requisitions Management team to support the development of a strategic workforce product that connects employee data, career movement, and organizational needs across HCA Healthcare.
This role is embedded in the product development process and works closely with the Product Owner (PO). The DPA helps shape the product by organizing and analyzing data, turning insights into guidance for product decisions, prioritization, and measurable outcomes. Over time, this role is intended to grow into a Product Owner position.
The current work on this team focuses on these key areas:
+ Reconciling employee data between Timpani and GHR, with alignment across role, department, FTE, and shift
+ Automating the opening and closing of requisitions
+ Expanding into a broader workforce ecosystem that supports new graduate nurses and employee movement across the organization
The team’s long-term vision is a product designed as a skills and interest matching platform that connects employee capabilities with organizational needs, similar to a recommendation or matching experience.
The DPA and Product Owner operate as a highly collaborative team. Rather than working through handoffs, the DPA is involved throughout the product lifecycle, helping guide decisions, validate direction, and ensure the product delivers measurable outcomes aligned with workforce strategy.
This role requires comfort working in ambiguity, evolving requirements, and early-stage product development where structure is built alongside the solution.
What you will do in this role:
+ Organize and structure complex workforce and product data to support discovery, development, and delivery
+ Define and track product metrics that show progress, adoption, and value
+ Use data to help tell the product story, connecting user needs, system behavior, and business outcomes
+ Support reconciliation and automation efforts by validating data accuracy, consistency, and readiness
+ Partner with the Product Owner to inform prioritization decisions using data rather than assumptions
+ Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product, technical, and business partners
+ Contribute to a collaborative product team that helps shape both the product vision and its execution
What qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor's degree - Required
+ Master's degree - Preferred
+ 1+ year of experience analyzing data in support of digital products, platforms, or workforce systems, with strong communication (verbal, written) skills - Required
+ Strong problem solver with experience in both technical (Excel) and functional (workforce systems) areas – Required
+ Proven experience connecting data to user experience, business impact, and product decisions - Required
+ Demonstrated curiosity about workforce dynamics, employee experience, and career mobility - Required
+ Experience in nursing operations, clinical operations, or healthcare workforce environments - Preferred
+ Background in labor management, workforce planning, or performance improvement - Preferred
+ Familiarity with employee lifecycle data, staffing models, or operational metrics in a healthcare setting - Preferred
Licenses, Certifications, & Training:
+ Certification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related fields - Preferred
+ Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies – Preferred
Work Location/Schedule:
+ UCF Lake Nona Medical Center (Orlando, FL) OR Nashville Corporate (Nashville, TN)
+ Onsite: M-F, 8am – 5pm
Travel Required:
+ This job may require up to 50% travel
Visa Sponsorship:
+ Not offered, now or in the future
