Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Jr Application Developer to join their team. As a Jr Application Developer, you will be part of the Security Initiatives Department supporting innovative projects focused on preparing internal applications and systems for post-quantum technology readiness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for learning, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Jr Application Developer

**Location:** Manassas, Virginia

Pay Range: $50/hr

What's the Job?

+ Assist in developing and maintaining security-focused applications and systems.

+ Work on preparing internal applications for post-quantum security initiatives.

+ Collaborate with senior developers and team members to implement best practices.

+ Contribute to scripting and automation tasks using Shell scripting and Python.

+ Support ongoing security projects by applying your programming skills and technical knowledge.

What's Needed?

+ Proficiency in C++, RHEL Unix, Shell scripting, and Python.

+ Some experience with Java and PKI is preferred but not mandatory.

+ Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

+ Strong desire to learn and develop new technical skills.

+ Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
