• Mainframe Batch Operations Technician

    Our client is seeking a Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the Batch Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Job Title:** **Mainframe Operations Technician

     

    Work hours: Wed-Fri 1:30-10:30pm, Saturday 5:30pm-6:30am

     

    Duration: 6+ Months (Highly possible to extend)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot various IT schedules and jobs within Control-M, mainframe, and enterprise environments

    + Ensure the smooth operation of batch processes and system monitoring activities

    + Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues efficiently

    + Maintain detailed documentation of system activities and troubleshooting steps

    + Support control system updates and perform routine system checks

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 5 years experience with Control-M System Monitoring

    + Proficiency in JCL with at least 5 years of experience

    + Experience with Mainframe System Monitoring for 5 years

    + Willingness to work Saturday overnight shifts (5:30pm-6:30am CT)

    + Current Wisconsin residency; remote work within WI is permitted
