    Our client, a leader in information technology and data management, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the Data Center Operations team, you will support critical logistics and inventory management functions, ensuring seamless data center operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 (Inventory & Asset Technician)

    **Location:** Sandston, VA

    **Contract Length:** 18 months max

    **Pay Range:** $24

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform physical inventory tracking, staging, and management activities within the data center environment.

    + Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities.

    + Ensure compliance with data center regulatory standards and conduct inventory cycle audits.

    + Assist with the destruction of data-bearing devices following established procedures.

    + Support data center operations by monitoring equipment performance and responding to system errors.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or IT environment.

    + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

    + Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
