    **Job Title:** Executive Assistant/ Assistant III

    **Hourly Rate:** $35 per hour

    **Employment Type:** Full-Time, Temporary

    **Duration:** January 26, 2026 – June 30, 2026

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday

    **Work Location:** UC Santa Cruz Campus, Santa Cruz, CA

    Position Summary

    The Executive Administrative Analyst provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Development and the Office of Planned Giving. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced university environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide executive-level administrative support to the AVC of Development and the Office of Planned Giving, including managing calendars, correspondence, meeting agendas, briefings, and informational materials.

    + Research, compile, and coordinate background and briefing materials to support daily activities, meetings, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

    + Schedule, coordinate, and attend departmental planning meetings; maintain calendars for annual Development and Office of Planned Giving activities.

    + Collaborate with University Advancement teams, divisional development staff, and executive assistants across campus to coordinate meetings and events.

    + Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics in accordance with university policies.

    + Process financial transactions including purchase requests, direct payments, Pro-card purchases, and travel reimbursements.

    + Prepare basic financial and resource reports; monitor budgets, review monthly expenses, reconcile transactions, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.

    + Provide operational support to the Office of Planned Giving, including managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining files, ordering office supplies, and overseeing office equipment needs.

    Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

    + Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative support.

    + Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

    + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

    + Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Strong preference for experience with UCSC financial and travel systems, including CruzBuy, CruzFly, and related tools.

    + Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with diverse campus partners.

    Compensation

    + $35 per hour
