    As a **Security Officer - Auto Patrol Driver** in **Avon Lake, OH** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an automotive environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This is a driving post, and you will be responsible for conducting routine vehicle patrols while delivering exceptional customer service.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

    + Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

    + Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying identification, and monitoring entry and exit points as required.

    + Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding the security-related standards of the location.

    + Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner, documenting all incidents and security-related observations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
