    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

    + Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to those on site.

    + Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to established protocols.

    + Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed, following all applicable laws and regulations.

    + Perform access control duties and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry.

    + Adhere to all Allied Universal and client-specific policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those related to armed patrol duties.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + Baton certification is preferred.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
