What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential community.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or property damage encountered while patrolling the location.

+ Work collaboratively with property management and local authorities when required, following established protocols.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.

+ Assist residents and guests with questions and directions, providing a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the community.

+ Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt responses as necessary to meet the needs of the residential location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
