• Associate Technician - Finishing

    Adecco is recruiting for an **Associate Technician – Finishing** for a client in **East Syracuse, NY** . This position is **temp-to-hire** , paying **$17/hour** , with a **Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm** schedule.

     

    This role supports the **manufacturing of prescription eyeglass lenses** in a production environment. The Associate Technician in Finishing performs hands-on work focused on **lens edging, mounting, tinting, and detailed inspection** to ensure finished lenses meet optical and cosmetic quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Mount lenses into frames, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and finish

    + Operate edging machines to cut lenses to the correct size and shape

    + Prepare lenses for edging by marking alignment and applying blocks/chucks

    + Utilize bevel wheels to remove sharp edges as needed

    + Accurately tint lenses according to work tickets and specifications

    + Perform detailed inspections throughout the process to ensure quality and accuracy

    + Follow written work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines

    Skills & Qualifications

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to think critically and understand inspection standards

    + Strong ability to follow written work instructions in English

    + Good eyesight and attention to fine details

    + Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

    + Reliable, punctual, and available for overtime as needed

    **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
