    Job Description

As an Engineer Electrical 2, you will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and testing complex electrical systems. Your contributions will be vital to the success of cutting-edge projects that have a global impact.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex systems based on specific objectives.

    + Conduct comprehensive reviews of internal, external, industry, customer, and range requirements to support system and subsystem designs.

    + Verify designs through detailed analysis and present findings to management and customers.

    + Lead the development, coordination, and execution of test programs to evaluate designs.

    + Guide troubleshooting efforts and lead comprehensive failure investigations.

    + Mentor junior engineers and perform peer reviews.

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and operations/manufacturing groups.

    + Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for requirements and design reviews.

    + Conduct qualification acceptance testing, characterization testing, and troubleshoot complex system designs.

    + Analyze data to identify trends indicating out-of-tolerance or degraded part performance.

    + Characterize off-nominal behavior of components through testing.

    + Contribute positively to team decisions and goals.

    + Provide quality internal and external customer service.

    + Escalate issues when necessary and act with safety as a priority.

    + Participate in trade studies for internal projects and procured equipment.

    + Provide formal peer reviews of engineering designs or analyses.

    Essential Skills

    + Broad understanding of electrical engineering technical standards.

    + Technical expertise in related disciplines.

    + Experience with electrical systems testing and integration.

    + Knowledge of military standards.

    + Proficiency in Matlab and Python.

    + System level testing experience.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.

    + U.S. Citizenship required.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security clearance.

    + Experience with rockets, missiles, or aircrafts.

    This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
