Aerotek is Hiring for Finishing/Polishing Technicians!!

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Finishing/Polishing Technician to join a production team within a clean, controlled facility. This role involves hands‑on work sanding, grinding, and polishing electronic devices. Candidates must maintain high quality standards, work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, and follow strict safety and facility protocols. Strong hand–eye coordination is essential, and candidates must be comfortable wearing a respirator for the duration of the shift, except during breaks.

Responsibilities

+ Sand, grind, and polish electronic devices to meet production standards.

+ Maintain satisfactory performance and quality levels throughout the shift.

+ Work efficiently in a high‑speed, high‑volume production environment.

+ Follow all facility safety rules and guidelines.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

+ Engage during facility tours or interviews by asking questions and demonstrating interest.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Strong hand–eye coordination.

+ Ability to stand for the entire shift.

+ Comfort working with small tools and repetitive tasks.

+ Attention to detail and ability to meet production requirements.

+ Basic English communication (reading, writing, speaking).

+ Ability and willingness to wear a respirator for the full shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material‑handling environments is helpful but not required.

+ Ability to adapt to fast-paced workflows.

+ Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.

+ Willingness to follow strict facility rules:

+ **No metal, jewelry, or electronics allowed inside**

+ **No belts permitted**

+ **All visitors and employees pass through metal detectors**

Training & Hours

Training:

+ 10 days on **1st shift** : Monday–Friday, **7:00 AM–3:30 PM**

Post‑Training Shift:

+ Transition to **2nd shift** : **3:30 PM–12:00 AM**

Breaks:

+ One 30‑minute lunch

+ Two 15‑minute breaks

Compensation

+ **Pay:** $17.00 per hour

Work Environment

+ Clean, temperature‑controlled production facility.

+ Personal belongings stored in lockers provided by the employer.

+ Hands‑on work involving tools and repetitive tasks.

+ Supportive, production‑focused team environment.

Interview/Tour Details for Candidates

+ Tour conducted by designated facility staff.

+ Candidates must arrive **15 minutes early** .

+ Required dress code: **sneakers, jeans, button‑down shirt, no belt** .

+ Tour includes a brief **15–20 minute interview** .

+ Candidates are encouraged to ask questions during the tour.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
