    Join our dynamic team as a Project Surveyor, where you will assist project managers in providing comprehensive land surveying and mapping services for projects of all sizes throughout Southern California. Our services include construction staking, ALTA land title surveys, boundary, topographic, and aerial surveys, Condominium Plans, Vertical Airspace Maps, Parcel Maps, Tract Maps, legal descriptions, and laser scanning services. We deliver high-quality surveying solutions to engineers, developers, architects, contractors, individuals, title companies, mortgage companies, and public agencies.

    Responsibilities

    + Calculate and analyze field boundary data.

    + Assist field survey crews on complex survey engagements.

    + Perform survey research and prepare various survey deliverables such as ALTA’s, Subdivision Maps, Legal Descriptions, Construction Staking Calculations, and Condominium Plans.

    + Provide support to project managers, coordinate and support field crews, and work closely with clients.

    + Deliver projects on time and within budget.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and land surveying technologies.

    + Strong understanding of topography, geodetic, and boundary analysis.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Demonstrated knowledge and application of fundamental surveying concepts, practices, and procedures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + California P.L.S. license preferred.

    + Ability to visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and guide field crews.

    + Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods while working on a computer.

    + Sound judgment, independent decision-making, and prolonged focus.

    Work Environment

    You will be part of a 26-person survey team, with plans to expand further. Enjoy flexible working hours, with the possibility of working remotely three days a week. The work week is Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours, with flexible start times between 7-9 am. Full in-house presence is required for P.L.S. candidates.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
