Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery, diagnosing and repairing high and low voltage power distribution systems, and performing maintenance tasks on AC and DC drives, microprocessors, relay logic, and control wiring.
Responsibilities
+ Repair and replace defective parts and components, and install special functional and structural parts in devices.
+ Lubricate and clean parts and components.
+ Maintain inventory on supplies and spare parts.
+ Read and troubleshoot Ladder Logic, blueprints, and schematics to effectively troubleshoot equipment in a timely manner.
+ Maintain and train employees in safe and efficient methods to repair equipment by following company-developed LOTO and other related programs.
+ Plan layout, install, and repair manufacturing equipment, acting as the plant expert in the educated field.
+ Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
+ Maintain an adequate preventative maintenance program on equipment, including cleaning and lubrication of manufacturing equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical systems, electrical maintenance, and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting, maintenance mechanics, and mechanic repair.
+ Ability to perform welding, maintenance repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability in manual machining of parts.
+ Experience in the upkeep of maintenance manuals.

Work Environment
The position is in a manufacturing environment where steel toe boots and ear protection are required. You will work with a team of five maintenance personnel and have the opportunity to complete projects independently.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
