    Facility Manager Job Description – Multiple Locations

    Position Overview

    The Facility Manager at multiple location will play a

     

    critical role in supporting the Operations team by ensuring a safe, efficient,

     

    and customer-focused environment. This highly self-motivated and

     

    customer-centric leader will oversee facility operations, develop innovative

     

    solutions to complex problems, and drive departmental and distribution goals

     

    through effective project and team management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with the Operations team to maintain a safe, customer-focused workplace.

    • Design and implement innovative solutions for facility-related challenges and manage external contractors; respond to emergencies as needed.

    • Oversee multiple internal and external projects and daily activities, ensuring deadlines are met and departmental goals are achieved.

    • Partner with local Safety department leadership to implement, audit, and ensure adherence to safety programs and procedures.

    • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs; foster strong working relationships with operations leadership.

    • Facilitate technical and safety training; support the professional development of facilities associates.

    • Mentor facilities associates, providing motivation and direction to help them exceed expectations.

    • Develop Facilities department business plans and lead their successful implementation.

    • Work with Finance to develop, set, and track budgets for the site.

    • Participate in and support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities locally and across the network.

    • Develop capital spending plans, facilitate cross-functional project planning, and conduct cost analyses.

    • Promote and maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the facility.

    • Participate in weekly network Facilities calls and periodic Facilities Manager conferences.

    • Provide clear, constructive feedback to associates, including written performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as necessary.

    • Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction, balancing customer needs with company interests.

    • Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by management.

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule as required.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Expertise in automated conveyor systems and controls.

    • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles.

    • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

    • Experience with CMMS programs and preventive maintenance procedures.

    • Knowledge of industrial electrical, controls, electronics, and industrial PC literacy.

    • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.).

    • Valid driver’s license and insurability under the company’s policy.

    • Ability to comply with Driving and Drug & Alcohol policy.

    This is a Contract position based out of Mt. Juliet, TN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be

    subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
