    Job Title: Hiring-Phlebotomist II

    Job Description

    As a phlebotomist II, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various duties, troubleshooting, training, and making recommendations for work flow improvements. You will be responsible for collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures and ensuring that all processes are carried out effectively and courteously.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, and record maintenance data.

    + Update and maintain patient information accurately.

    + Collect and store specimens, including blood, urine, and fecal samples, according to established procedures.

    + Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.

    + Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of phlebotomy experience

    + Experience with all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients

    Work Environment

    This position involves working at a new account with IOP - Reliance Family Care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McDonough, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $34.10 - $34.10/hr.
