Job Title: 3rd Shift Hospital Cleaning Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Cleaning Technician during the 3rd shift at our hospital. This position involves the cleaning and sanitization of hospital rooms, primarily after patient discharges, ensuring a hygienic environment for incoming patients. The role requires extensive walking, and candidates must be comfortable being on their feet throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

+ Clean and sanitize hospital rooms following patient discharges.

+ Wipe down hospital equipment and surfaces, ensuring thorough cleanliness.

+ Empty trash, sweep floors, and dust surfaces as part of daily duties.

+ Respond to spills promptly and mop surfaces as needed.

+ Utilize issued iPhones to receive daily assignments and work orders.

+ Access cleaning tutorials via iPhones when necessary.

+ Familiarize and navigate efficiently through the large hospital floor plan.

Essential Skills

+ Experience working with smartphone technology.

+ Previous experience in janitorial work, preferably in healthcare settings.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

+ Comfortable with extensive walking and standing throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ GED or high school diploma preferred.

+ Experience in janitorial work within manufacturing or distribution sectors is considered.

This is a Contract position based out of Danville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
