Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

We are seeking candidates to operate a Die Cutting Machine. At the beginning of each shift, you will check the board for your assigned machine and work orders. You will follow work orders on a computer, requiring basic computer navigation skills to enter quantities completed and materials used. After pulling up a work order, you will locate the specific die requested, and prepare the required material on the machine, primarily rubber or plastic-like substances. The die cutting machine will shape these materials according to the order specifications. After cutting, you will be responsible for boxing and packaging the pieces.

Responsibilities

+ Operate the Die Cutting Machine and follow work orders.

+ Use a computer to track quantities completed and materials used.

+ Locate and install specific dies and materials on the machine.

+ Ensure precise cutting of materials as per order specifications.

+ Box and package finished products efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ months of manufacturing experience, preferably in machine operation or assembly.

+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16 of an inch.

+ Basic computer skills, equivalent to smartphone navigation.

+ Mechanical inclination and willingness to learn.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in machine operating or die cutting is a plus.

+ Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform simple math calculations (e.g., counting by 2 and 5).

+ A positive attitude and openness to diverse backgrounds and industries.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and very organized manufacturing environment. You can listen to music with one earbud while working at your station. Enjoy flexible training hours, with the option to maintain the training schedule or switch to a modified four-day workweek. Training hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. Post-training, choose from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday 6 am to 10 am, or Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday 7 am to 11 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
