Job Title: Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to engage in both proactive and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment such as presses, molding machines, trimmers, and more. This role also involves utilities and facilities work, comprising 20% of the job duties.

Responsibilities

+ Perform daily rounds, including checking boilers and water systems.

+ Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, cleaning, and repairs of machinery and equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and repair various electrical wiring, switches, relays, contactors, starters, AC/DC drives, and motors.

+ Run conduit, wire outlets, breakers, transformers, and lighting.

+ Diagnose and repair hydraulic/pneumatic valves and cylinders, replacing or repairing as needed.

+ Rebuild rack and pinion on presses.

+ Replace gears, pulleys, and various belts on machines, exhaust fans, and AC units.

+ Maintain required records and logs concerning inspections, testing, maintenance, installation, and repairs of equipment and machinery.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to read from wiring diagrams and prints.

+ Strong hands-on electrical troubleshooting skills, including troubleshooting sensors and handling voltages up to 480.

+ Experience in hydraulics, dealing with up to PSI.

+ Strong electrical and mechanical abilities.

+ Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and blueprints.

+ Ability to handle hazardous chemicals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School or GED equivalent is required.

+ 5+ years of related mechanical and electrical experience within the food, beverage, pharma, or chemical industry.

+ Previous hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Licensure in forklift, plumbing, electrical, or boiler operation is a plus.

+ Experience and knowledge of HVAC and Chiller systems.

+ Basic knowledge of PLCs, including Siemens.

+ Basic arithmetic skills.

+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

+ Ability to learn and implement GMP, SOPs, and other procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85737.00 - $85737.00/yr.
