    Job Title: Mixing/Blending Operator

    Job Description

    As a Mixing/Blending Operator, you will be responsible for operating and adjusting various machines, including mixing machines, blending machines, and steam kettles. You will measure or weigh ingredients, observe products, and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds to ensure product quality. Additionally, you will check the quality of raw materials to meet standards and specifications, ensure equipment meets health and safety regulations, and perform necessary maintenance or cleaning. Quality checks on products for any damages or expired goods are also part of the role.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and adjust mixing machines, blending machines, and steam kettles.

    + Measure or weigh ingredients accurately.

    + Observe products and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds accordingly.

    + Check the quality of raw materials to ensure standards and specifications are met.

    + Ensure equipment meets health and safety regulations, performing maintenance or cleaning as needed.

    + Inspect products for quality and identify any damaged or expired goods.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operating, including setup and troubleshooting.

    + Minimum of 6 months experience in a machine operating role.

    + Ability to use a tape measure and read blueprints.

    + Experience with packaging machines and quality inspection.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic math skills.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

    + Ability to climb stairs, bend, and stand for extended periods.

    + Capability to lift 50+ lbs.

    Work Environment, Shift Hours, and Pay

     

    1st shift: Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm

     

    2nd shift: Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. ($2 premium)

     

    3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, from 11:00pm to 7:00am ($2 premium)

     

    Pay: dependent upon interview/experience, but falls between $20-24 **Job Type & Location**

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
