Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves handling the daily receiving of incoming materials and repairs, packaging actuators and spare parts for shipment, and coordinating carrier arrangements to meet customer delivery requests.

Responsibilities

+ Perform daily receiving of incoming materials and repairs.

+ Package actuators, spare parts, and parts orders for shipment.

+ Make carrier arrangements as necessary.

+ Assist in constructing skids and crates for finished drive assemblies.

+ Coordinate with other departments and outside carriers to support customer service.

Essential Skills

+ 3 to 5 years of related shipping/receiving experience.

+ Proven skills in fabricating skids and crates.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Sound judgment in shipping/receiving-related issues.

+ Basic computer skills, including experience with UPS online shipping system.

+ Familiarity with basic packaging techniques and equipment such as pneumatic staplers, nail guns, and pallet trucks.

+ Knowledge and skills in using fork trucks.

+ Experience in coordinating carrier arrangements.

+ Excellent attention to detail.

+ Good oral communication skills.

+ Reliable attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to prioritize work assignments effectively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
